Online Programming: FAQ

 

What is it?

A customized exercise program based on your goals, lifestyle, body, and more. I design and deliver your individualized exercise program every 4 weeks through a free app so that you can make better progress instead of trying things out on your own and hoping for the best. It includes weekly check-ins with optional video feedback to ensure you feel confident with your form and training.


What are the benefits of online personal training?

Online programming gives you the benefit of having me, an educated and experienced coach, deliver a program based on your goals, abilities, lifestyle, and body with the convenience of working out when it is ideal for you wherever you want to train.

Online training allows you to follow a customized program but at your own convenience.  As someone who has trained clients for over 20 years, my clients are often at the mercy of scheduling our sessions based on my availability.  With online training, you can train whenever it is convenient for you.  

Online software makes it easy to see the exercises you'll be doing with videos and detailed written form instructions.  It conveniently allows you to check in, message me, track your workouts, and progress toward your goals.

It’s also an affordable option compared to hiring an in-person trainer. Example: If you worked out with a trainer 2x a week at $100 a session, the average month would cost you about $800. Online training allows you to follow a customized plan at a significantly lower cost with the option of training more frequently each week.  

Online training also offers versatility through different workout options that you can perform at home, outside, while traveling, or at the gym.


What kind of person does this work well for?

  • People who can successfully be accountable to themselves and consistent with making time for exercise

  • Folks who need more flexibility with scheduling their training sessions

  • Clients who’d like a lower price point than in-person training

  • While not necessary, those who have strength training experience and access to some fitness equipment will find this format a little easier

  • Those who are comfortable using apps & smartphones to view, record, and communicate


What does that include?

  • A custom program delivered every 4 weeks through a free app to view the videos and instructions for each exercise and to track your sets, reps, and weight

  • Weekly check-ins with optional video form feedback

  • Workouts can also be downloaded or printed as a PDF

  • Enter stats and view graphs of your progress throughout different workouts and exercises

  • Push notification when your new program has been delivered and reminders on workout days

  • A fitness calendar to view your scheduled workouts w/ the flexibility to move them around

  • Internal messaging to ask questions, send videos of your form when needed, and check in with your coach

  • App integrations including Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, Oura, and more

  • Goal tracking and event countdowns

  • Additional activity, sport, and exercise tracking

  • Up to 3 workouts per program

  • Feedback survey at the end of each program to help improve your next program


Do I need to do the workouts
at a gym?

Whether you prefer or need to train at home, in the gym, or in a van down by the river, I’ve got you covered. There are thousands of ways to moves and lucky for you, I’m a creative person. The inevitable curve balls of life don’t have to stop you from working out. There is some form of exercise out there for everyone, even if you have injuries, limited time, or few resources.  


What do I need to access the workouts?

An internet connection and access through your smartphone. Training programs are accessible through an app. Bring your device when you train to follow along with the videos or kick it old school like you’re Chuck Norris and print out your workouts.


Will you see my form on the exercises?

If you’re unsure of your form on any exercise, you can film yourself doing the exercise and then upload it to the specific exercise. I will check in each week to answer questions and look for video uploads in order to give you either written or video feedback in response.


How much does it cost?

$179 auto-billed every 4 weeks

or

$129 auto-billed every 4 weeks if you’re a current client that trains live either remotely or in-person


How do I pay?

Through a recurring 4-week payment through LegitFit, my payment and scheduling software. Your new program will be ready within 5 days of payment.
